Harris St. Laurent Unveils New Brand Identity With Focus on Complex, High-Value Litigation

March 31, 2026

Harris St. Laurent LLP is building on a period of extraordinary success by sharpening its focus on what it does best. Drawing on its national reputation and proven track record for enterprise-defining commercial litigation and premium employment disputes, as well as critical investigation and sophisticated white-collar defense work, the firm is intensifying its focus on high-impact matters.

Known for providing world-class representation to clients facing complex and consequential challenges, the firm’s recent results showcase its results-oriented culture and underscore its momentum. Within a matter of weeks in February 2026, Harris St. Laurent secured multiple significant victories in several of its key practice areas:

  • Won a $75 million federal jury verdict in a landmark Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) lawsuit for Post University against academic file-sharing site Course Hero.
  • Won a dismissal, without leave to replead, in defending a public company CFO against a securities class action in the Southern District of New York.
  • Won a landmark FINRA arbitration for Paul Galietto, the former head of Equities for Credit Suisse, in a case stemming from the collapse of the Archegos hedge fund.
  • Affirmed prior trial victory with appellate win for Joel Arencibia, a prominent business leader in the high-end residential construction sector against a broad array of asserted business torts.

Few firms of comparable size can point to a start of the year of this magnitude, and we view this as the foundation for the greater achievements we see ahead.

As part of this forward-looking strategy, Harris St. Laurent will transition away from conventional employment contract negotiations and smaller-scale employment work. A talented group of the firm’s attorneys are departing to launch a new firm dedicated to that segment of the market. This transition reflects both the strength of the team at Harris St. Laurent and the firm’s commitment to strategic clarity.

“We are excited about the future and believe we have assembled the strongest team in the firm’s history. We are confident in our ability to continue delivering outstanding results to our clients in what looks to be the most compelling portfolio of matters we have ever had,” managing partner Jonathan Harris said.
