Pro Bono Coordinator Martin Braxton combines several decades of in-house law firm experience with his extensive network of relationships to lead the firm’s community outreach programs and pro bono initiatives.

Working directly with the firm’s senior leadership, Martin has primary responsibility for conceiving and bringing pro bono initiatives to the firm. He has utilized his local and regional contacts to help develop and strengthen the firm’s relationships with community, non-profit, and service organizations.

Martin has championed outreach for a number of initiatives including the HS undergraduate paid internship program, where he has increased the diversity of the candidate pool and has successfully recruited numerous pre-law undergraduates for the internships.

Outside the firm, Martin has built communities, teams, and goodwill in a variety of ways. He conceived and developed a high school-level AAU club basketball team that he has managed and coached for over a decade and which plays competitively throughout the New York Metro area, as well as in numerous prestigious summer tournaments. In addition, a significant number of his ex-players have gone on to become student-athletes and scholarship recipients at prominent colleges and universities. He is also a certified basketball referee and has worked youth and club games for over 30 years.
